GCO ECD 2000 (OOOO) Solution

The EPA 40 CFR 60 OOOOa can be confusing, so do not rely on a website saying a combustor is "OOOOa compliant" or "meets OOOOa" 

Simply put, for applications needing to comply with OOOOa, if an operator uses a combustor not on the EPA webesite as "YES", by law, that operator must demonstrate, by field testing, it does meet the requirement within 180 days  after they install it, and must put a flow meter in line to not exceed the published OOOOa volumes thru the combustor.  A letter from the manufacture will not suffice. 

Flow charts can tell from individual manufactures can tell what pressure was used to reach the flow rates, but the GCO ECD 2000 offers operators a 100 mcfd solution @ 4 oz.

The GCO ECD 2000 has been "Manufacturer Tested", the results reviewed by the EPA, and is listed on the EPA OOOOa website as "YES". This means that an owner or operator who uses a device listed as “YES” is exempt from conducting routine performance tests and from submitting the test results.

The EPA list also provides the maximum inlet flow rate determined by the manufacturer for the specified model. A quick conversion to mcfd => (scfh/1000)*24.  While others choose to use 10 oz. to test, the GCO ECD 2000 was tested @ 4 oz. and offers operators a 100 mcfd solution.
